Apimio PIM allows you to efficiently manage your product assets. This guide will walk you through the process of uploading and importing assets into Apimio PIM.

Steps to Import Assets in Apimio

Step 1: Access the Dashboard

Log in to your Apimio PIM account.

On the dashboard, locate and click on the "Products" tab to begin managing your product assets.

Step 2: Add Products

Within the "Products" section, click on "Add Products."

A popup will appear, prompting you to add the product SKU (Stock Keeping Unit).

Enter the SKU for the product you want to add.

Click on "Add Product," and your product will be added to the system.

Step 3: Upload Product Images

After successfully adding a product, navigate to the "Media" section by clicking on it.

Within the "Media" section, select "Add Images."

Step 4: Add Images

A popup will appear, providing you with the option to browse and select the images you want to add to the product.

Browse your local files to find the desired images and select them.

Once you've chosen the images, click "Add" or a similar action to import them into the system.

The images will be added to your product's assets.

Step 5: Save Settings and Add Multiple Assets

After adding the images, you can customize settings or add additional assets, if necessary.

Make any required adjustments, such as setting image attributes or descriptions.

Save your settings to ensure that the assets are associated correctly with the product.

You can repeat this process to add multiple assets to the same product or other products as needed.

By following these simple steps, you can efficiently upload and import assets, such as images, into Apimio PIM, ensuring that your product information is well-managed and up-to-date.

Alternate Method: Importing Assets via CSV

Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File

Ensure your CSV file contains the following two columns: "SKU Number" and "Image URL."

Each SKU in the CSV file should have its corresponding Image URL to link products with their respective images.

Step 2: Import CSV to Apimio

Log in to your Apimio PIM account.

From the dashboard, locate and select the "Products" tab to manage your product assets.

Select the option to import data from a CSV file.

Step 3: Map Fields

Apimio PIM will prompt you to map the fields in your CSV file to the corresponding fields in the system.

Review the mapping to ensure it's accurate before proceeding.

Step 4: Initiate the Import

Once you've correctly mapped the fields, initiate the import process.

Apimio PIM will process the CSV file, linking the product SKUs with their respective image URLs.

Depending on the size of your CSV file, this may take a moment.

Step 5: Review and Confirm

After the import is complete, review the results to ensure that products and images are correctly linked.

Confirm that all images are associated with their respective products.
